JERSEY resident and businessman Paul Masterton has been appointed as the new chief executive of the Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust.
Mr Masterton (51), who has lived in the Island since 2003 and is married to a Jersey woman, has been taken on in the post as the trust begins an ambitious programme of raising £47 million over several years to transform their site in Trinity into a state of the art animal conservation centre.
For the past 25 years, Mr Masterton has worked for the public American printing and communications company RR Donnelley and is currently chief executive officer of their European subsidiary.
