Red card gets its marching orders
Friday 4th April 2008, 12:00AM BST.
THE Checkers Express Collect + Save card is being scrapped because customers have said that they do not want it.
Le Riche operations director Mark Cox said that customers have told them that they would prefer lower prices in stores rather than the points system. The cards, which earned customers points on everything bought at the till, were cancelled this week.
Mr Cox said that there are over 28,000 cards in Jersey but the large majority were not being used.
