Doherty jailing leaves Guernsey Live with headline headache
Thursday 10th April 2008, 12:00AM BST.
GUERNSEY Live organisers are trying to find a new headline act after the jailing of singer Pete Doherty.
Doherty, the former frontman of the Libertines, was supposed to top the bill at the two-day festival, but was jailed for 14 weeks on Tuesday for breaching a probation order.
This rules the troubled singer out of a string of UK gigs and festival slots, including a headline show at the Royal Albert Hall later this month.
Guernsey Live organiser Warren Holt said that they were considering their options following the news.
