Jordan-Higgins drives to third US university award of the season

FOR the third time this season Jersey’s Olivia Jordan-Higgins, currently studying at the Charleston Southern University on a golfing scholarship, is the Big South Conference Choice Hotels Women’s Golfer of the Week.

The former Beaulieu sixth-former led her team, the Lady Buccaneers, at the Tina Barrett Invitational tournament, earning a share of seventh place with a two-round total of 156.

It was the fifth time this season that Jordan-Higgins has been her squad’s top finisher.

She was also the top among the 14 Big South competitors, having been placed in the top ten for the fourth time this season, and was one of only nine golfers to card rounds in the 70s – 77 in the first and 79 in the second.

Her next competition is at the UNCW Lady Seahawk Invitational, River Landing, in Wallace.
