Car park adverts earn States money
Monday 14th April 2008, 12:00AM BST.
ADVERTISEMENTS on car parks and buses are on course to earn the States tens of thousands of pounds.
Transport Minister Guy de Faye has brought in an Island marketing firm to sell advertising space to local and national businesses, which include banners and posters in Jersey’s car parks and buses.
He says that the advertising will net tens of thousands of pounds for his department, allowing them to improve their services to the public.
Deputy de Faye approved the sale of advertising space 18 months ago.
