Netball: Guthrie in England match squad

SERENA GUTHRIE is in with a strong chance of earning her first England netball cap as she has been announced in tonight’s the match squad for the second test match against Malawi.

The 18-year-old is one of 12 from the 14-strong squad to be named for the match at the Coventry Skydome at 7 pm which will be broadcast tomorrow at 5.30 pm on Sky Sports 2.

‘She’s really confident, looking forward to it and just wants to get out there and show what she can do,’ said her mother, Heather.
