RJAHS want to end ‘myths’ on semen imports

AS the bull semen importation debate continues, the Island’s main agricultural society have said that they are happy to help people to understand the issue and clear up any ‘myths’.
Royal Jersey Agricultural and Horticultural Society chief executive James Godfrey has stressed that they are happy to discuss the issue with politicians, members of the public and also members of the society.
‘People feel passionately about this, and that is a good sign,’ he said. ‘Unfortunately, there is a lot of misinformation going around and we think that the basis for this debate has to be clear evidence. People can’t cherry pick information. They must look at the issue in its entirety.
