Kenwright seeks Twickers double double
Wednesday 23rd April 2008, 12:00AM BST.
JERSEY’S Ross Kenwright (20), who made his Siam Cup debut last year, is on duty for Hartpury Academy at Twickenham today – the first of two dates he has at RFU headquarters.
The powerful prop forward, in his second year of a sports conditioning and coaching course at Hartpury, was named on the bench for today’s British Universities Sports Association (BUSA) rugby union final against Loughborough and will have high hopes of getting on for the cup holders.
Kenwright was in the Hartpury starting line-up before getting injured prior to the semi-final and has just managed to get back to fitness, playing eight minutes as substitute last weekend.
Hopeful
Many of Hartpury’s starting line-up won the trophy against UWIC (Cardiff) last year, but the former London and South East U18 Divisional player will be extremely hopeful of getting onto the pitch.
