Petulla hits four in Tower triumph

LEEDS United trialist Charlie Petulla scored four times and missed a penalty as First Tower United under-14s won the Brian Beckett Memorial Trophy at Springfield last night.
Despite going a goal behind in the opening minutes against St John, Tower hit back to take a 7-1 half time lead before going on to win 8-2.
Petulla hit a hat-trick in the first half together with blazing a penalty kick wide.
Richard Streets volleyed St John ahead after three minutes before Petulla levelled the scores with a cool lob to settle Tower’s early nerves and from that point the result was never in doubt.
