Runners are quick to enter marathon

OVER 250 runners have already registered for this year’s Jersey marathon.
Online entries have been introduced for the first time for the 2008 Standard Chartered Jersey Marathon in association with Headway and there is a discount for those who get their entries in early.
Fund-raiser for Headway Jersey Sara Durnford-Lloyd is reminding Islanders to get behind the official marathon charities.
‘This event is our big fund-raiser for the year and we need participants to raise sponsorship money for Headway and Seeing is Believing,’ she said.
