Scotland reach final by beating Ireland

SCOTLAND defeated Ireland 3-0 at La Hague Manor last night to qualify for the final of the Black Horse Offshore European Championship final next month.

Junior Island midfielder Michael Weir took his tally to five in the competition in two games after netting a first half brace before fellow under-18 striker Calum Brennan notched a late third.

Scotland therefore top Group B with maximum points from their two games and in the final, at Springfield on Sunday 11 May, they will play either Portugal, England or Jersey.
