Trinity take U16s Upton
Tuesday 29th April 2008, 12:00AM BST.
TRINITY won the John Leatt Memorial Trophy Under-16 football Upton in Guernsey on Sunday by a single goal against Vale Recreation.
The first-half goal from the outstanding Aaron Young settled the issue in a match which Trinity dominated.
The silverware was the third they had collected this season, having completed the Jersey Telecom Junior League U16 Division I League and Eric Amy KO Cup double.
Trinity manager Joe Finnigan said: ‘The boys have had a fine season and they capped it off with an excellent victory against Vale. It really should have been by a bigger margin. I thought 4-0 would have been a fair reflection at half-time!
