Buckley in link with New York’s Freedom Tower

A COMPANY with responsibility for leasing the Freedom Tower in New York has links with a Jersey company.

Cushman & Wakefield have been named the exclusive leasing agent for 1 World Trade Centre, which will become the Freedom Tower when it is completed in 2012.

Local property surveyor Buckley & Co are an alliance partner of Cushman & Wakefield and will get the opportunity to co-ordinate expressions of interest from local businesses with North American connections.

Buckley & Co’s managing director Simon Buckley said that they were thrilled and honoured that Cushman & Wakefield had been named as the exclusive leasing agent for the Freedom Tower that will cover 2.6 million square feet upon completion.
