Known as Jimmy, and believed to have been a former cab driver, he was charged with raping a 12-year-old girl at an address in Roseville Street some time between March 1971 and March 1972; with indecently assaulting a girl aged between 12 and 15 between March 1971 and March 1974; and with procuring the commission by a girl aged between 12 and 15 of an act of gross indecency on him between March 1971 and March 1974.

Donnelly, of Route des Mielles, St Brelade, was born in Bishop’s Castle in the UK.
