Tragic death of grieving father

A GRIEVING father who blamed doctors and the General Hospital for his daughter’s death took his own life before knowing that she was killed by one of the world’s rarest heart conditions.
Unable to cope with the death of his ‘little princess’, Andrew Deegan (29) took a potentially lethal dose of tranquilisers and hanged himself close to his daughter’s grave at Les Quennevais cemetery on 14 April.
At an inquest into Holly’s death last Friday it was revealed that she died of an extremely rare heart condition and GPs, doctors, nurses, and hospital staff did all that they could do to save her.
