GB vest for Stevenson

JERSEY shot putter Jamie Stevenson will win his first Great Britain vest later this month.
Stevenson (18), an Island Games and Jeux des Iles medal winner for Jersey, as well as a multiple national age group champion, will represent Great Britain U20s in a senior competition, the Loughborough Open, against the senior men’s teams of Wales, Scotland, Ireland and Loughborough, on Sunday 18 May.
The former Haute Vallee and Highlands student will be throwing against some of the best shot putters in the country, including Beijing Olympics-bound Mark Edwards and Scott Ryder.
