Skating star Kyran buys his own rink

KYRAN Bracken will be bringing his own ice rink to Jersey for a major summer show as well as public skating at Christmas.

And the World Cup-winning rugby star turned international ice dancer will bring celebrities such as former Boyzone star Stephen Gately and actress Clare Buckfield over to the Island this summer.

The 11,000 tickets for his show, called Kyran Bracken’s Ice Party, are now on sale.

Mr Bracken was in the Island last week with his skating partner Melanie Lambert and said that he hoped that this was something that the Jersey public would get behind.
