ISLANDERS are being promised that the second Jersey Side by Side Big Disc Sale will be just as big and varied as last year’s sale.

The event takes place tomorrow at Hautlieu School, starting at 10 am.

On sale will be thousands of CDs, DVDs and games which Jersey Evening Post staff have been busy sorting into a range of categories.

The event is back after proving to be such a success last year, when hundreds of Islanders raised a total of £11,350 towards the rebuilding of an earthquake-hit school in Kashmir.

JEP editor Chris Bright said: ‘Last year the Big Disc Sale was a huge success, and, thanks to the generosity of our readers, there will be thousands of discs on sale again tomorrow, including many interesting oddities across the musical categories. ‘We are hoping for a good turnout at the sale that will get Jersey Side by Side close to the appeal target to complete the rebuilding of the school at Mera Bakot.’
