WHAT an innovative and original way to promote ecology, and at the same time help charities, by putting a tax on companies making a small charge on their plastic bags.
As if the introduction of the totally iniquitous and unnecessarily illogical GST is not bad enough, our long-term demise is being orchestrated by an actual Jerseyman, Senator Le Sueur, and this is the man who proclaimed that he feels he is an ideal candidate for Chief Minister.
How out of touch with the public of this Island can you be?
