Investigation as toddler dies with head injuries

A POLICE investigation has been launched following the death yesterday of a young boy who had suffered serious head injuries.
The death of 21-month-old Micael Goncalves Videira was being treated today as ‘unexplained’. Paramedics were called to a private address in Roseville Street at around 11.40 am yesterday and took the boy to the Hospital.
A spokesman for the Ambulance Service said that he had suffered serious injuries to his head. It is understood that he died at the Hospital some time in the early afternoon before 4 pm.
The States police were immediately notified about the death and have launched an investigation.
