What a good show!

THE Foire de Jersey was great, even in the rain. I saw a wonderful cattle show and was filled with wonder by the Jèrriais speakers.
Are the Islanders aware enough of their privilege of having their own cattle and their own language?
Many thanks to the marshal who succeeded in extricating my car from the parking. Manoeuvring many times, keeping patience and smiling, he also managed to speak French to reassure this poor frog. No doubt a true Jerseyman, chivalrous and mastering obstacles!
So I think that Islanders are quite able to keep their cattle as they are and their old language alive. Just a matter of determination.
