Race For Life

OVER one thousand women donned running shoes yesterday to run, jog or walk the 5 km Race for Life in aid of Cancer Research.
In perfect weather conditions for the event, which followed the Run for Moore for men, the participants made their way from Jardins de la Mer to Bel Royal and back.
Earlier, they had been invited to join in an hour’s warm up with exercise to music and emphasis on fun.

The 11th Great Garden Bird Watch took place over the weekend, Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 February. JEP readers were asked to get on board to help monitor bird life in the Island.
