He’s clearly found a way of solving the black hole issue

From Dennis Shore.
I read the paper on Thursday night, and realised why Frank Walker is our Chief Minister. He has found a way of solving the ‘black hole’ issue in one go.

Get rid of all police in the Island, along with the vast majority of the judiciary and put the new Magistrate’s Court to better use as rented office space to the private sector, therefore cutting expenditure and generating much needed income.

How did he do this? Well, my fellow Islanders, all you have to do is put the accused before a judge, the judge asks ‘Did you commit murder’, the accused replies ‘no’, the judge asks ‘will you swear to that in writing?’ The accused replies ‘yes’ and the case is over. The accused is innocent.

No need to look at the CCTV, talk to witnesses, question the accused further and in turn no need for all those involved in finding out if in fact he is lying.

You’re not that stupid Frank, and neither are we.
