JERSEY Dairy has won awards at England’s largest agricultural show, the Royal Bath and West Show.
The Five Oaks company won four rosettes: two golds for yoghurt and two silvers for butter. Major UK companies companies competing at the show included Dairy Crest Foods UK and Yeo Valley.
The show took place at the end of last month in Somerset and up to 160,000 visitors came to see the livestock, farmers and producers over four days.
The dairy’s export sales manager, Liam Whelan, said that to fare so well against such high calibre competition could only bolster Jersey Dairy’s drive to create an export market for their products.
