Job opportunities in data analysis

AN expert in molecular biosciences is hoping to recruit graduate or PHD scientists in Jersey to assist in data analysis.
Professor Howard Morris (pictured) plans to expand his M-Scan office in the Island to employ trainees to interpret data from one of the company’s international bases.
The company, which was founded by Prof Morris in 1979, has laboratories in the UK, Germany, Switzerland and America, and promotes itself as a consultant and analyst of mass spectrometry.
‘Initially I will be looking to employ one or two trainees who are graduate or PHD scientists,’ explained Prof Morris, who currently works from home in St Brelade but is looking for new office premises.
‘The employees will help interpret data created in one of the M-Scan labs. Analysis ranges from fuels through the whole chemistry spectrum – proteins, fibres and so on.
