Hotel managers head for the beach

LONGUEVILLE Manor management staff have been branching out this week as they undertook a clean-up of Grève d’Azette beach.
The initiative is part of their sustainability programme and recently launched New Leaf campaign, which aims to consider the impact the hotel has on the environment.
‘We have pledged a long-term commitment to the environment with our New Leaf campaign and are passionate about making our team more aware of the incredible Jersey environment we are lucky enough to live in,’ said Malcolm Lewis, owner of Longueville Manor.
‘We are surrounded by this incredible coastline which today, thank goodness, is still pretty clean. But if you go down to St Clement’s beach the amount of rubbish there is terrible.
