INDEPENDENCE, eh? An interesting idea worthy of discussion.

But if meat is ever put on the bones of this ‘high-powered’ (JEP’s description) self-appointed group’s musings, then I would suggest to it that the slightest mention of the European Union and the euro should and will kill the concept stone dead for thinking Islanders.

‘Brussels’ and ‘independence’ are irreconcilably anathematical words.
