We need something to fall back on

I THINK it is a good idea for Jersey to gain independence. It is only a matter of time before the UK wants to skim off some of the money we get from our finance industry, so why not get out now before that happens?

I think that as long as people can still watch UK television and eat UK products, they won’t know the difference.

I also believe that Jersey should be investing into other local industries instead of just finance. We need something to fall back on.
