THE Rockin’ Horse Show will be just one of the spectacular acts to thrill the crowds at the Jersey Evening Post West Show this weekend.

Thousands of people are expected to turn up at the Manor Farm, St Peter, and, with the sun expected to shine, it’s sure to be a fantastic atmosphere. With everything from the Rockwood Dog Display team and the Hunts Racing Donkeys to classic cars, a children’s farm and plenty of food and drink, the event is going to have something for all ages.

The Lieutenant-Governor, Lieutenant-General Andrew Ridgway, will officially open the event at noon today.

Everyone who attends will be able to get a flavour for the Island’s cultural, horticultural and agricultural heritage. Genuine Jersey will have a prime area showcasing the best of what the Island has to offer. It will have a Village and Discussion Zone which is hosting a number of speakers and demonstrations.
