How sad that your correspondent didn’t go exploring

HOW sad that T Wallace (JEP, 9 July) was not able to appreciate the peace and quiet of town on a Sunday with the shops closed and didn’t have the imagination or curiosity to discover the stunning natural beauty of Jersey’s coastline and beaches or to explore the historic castles, forts, dolmens, etc.
If Jersey is 25 years behind the UK I think that is wonderful but I do agree with his comment about excessive building. However that is the cost of catching up with the 21st century. He can’t have it both ways.
