I READ in the Daily Telegraph of 21 July that UK ministers are considering allowing ‘idiots’ and ‘lunatics’ to stand for Parliament.

Any examination of the current Jersey States Assembly will clearly demonstrate that, in this respect, we lead the world.

As the lunatics have taken over the asylum in Britain already it’s somewhat ironic the morally bankrupt Labour Party should consider allowing their fellow mental health patients to stand for election!

So Jersey has a similar lunatic fringe group in power representing minority interests as Guernsey then?
