Battle: The race to be ready
Thursday 31st July 2008, 2:57PM BST.

Last night, Miss Battle, Holly Fraser, was joined by parade officials and media representatives to see how the floats are coming along and how much work still needs to be done.
But while some exhibits are on track for the arrival of thousands of flowers next Thursday, many of the parish exhibits are well behind schedule this year. ‘We’re slightly behind,’ said Trinity chairman Anslie Le Brun. ‘We would like to have finished building by now, as we normally are.
