This is the man for Chief Minister

I HAVE long been an admirer of Roger Bale’s letters and have probably read every one of them in the last 20 years. You ask for a reaction to his recent article in your Our Island series (JEP, 25 July).

I think that a man of his proven experience, ability, sagacity and vision should be co-opted into standing for the soon-to-be-vacant position of Chief Minister to inject some sanity and foresight into the States Chamber (a quality that is regrettably pretty thin on the ground with the present membership and the Council of Ministers in particular).
