U15s take bow in top division
Saturday 2nd August 2008, 9:57AM BST.
JERSEY’S youngest age group take centre stage next week with the ICC European U15 Division I tournament being staged in Jersey.
And like the U17s who competed in Ireland a fortnight ago, the U15s will be tasting Division I competition for the first time.
The hosts, who are being supported by Herald Sports and Entertainment, are in Group A, with Scotland and The Netherlands, while neighbours Guernsey oppose Ireland and Denmark in Group B.
This week Jersey played their final two preparation matches for the tournament and they had mixed fortunes sharing a two-match series with Cambridgeshire.
