The use of Jersey Enterprise
Wednesday 6th August 2008, 3:00PM BST.
THE Economic Development department is seeking feedback from businesses on the work of Jersey Enterprise — the initiative tasked by the States with helping to grow the economy.
In a bid to find out opinion on current schemes, products and services, the department has produced a questionnaire which has been e-mailed to 2,000 people on its contact list and is also available online. It asks how further support and development should be focused to grow and diversify the Island’s economy.
Andrew Sugden, economic development deputy chief officer (pictured), said: ‘Jersey Enterprise gives help and advice to Island entrepreneurs and businesses and we want to make sure that the products and services provided match as closely as possible the requirements of Jersey businesses.’
The questionnaire also seeks to find out how effective people think the Enterprise has been in supporting businesses in Jersey, helping start-ups, stimulating overseas investment and helping Jersey businesses develop markets overseas.
