Man is mugged and robbed at Snow Hill
Wednesday 20th August 2008, 2:55PM BST.
A MAN was mugged, punched and kicked by two attackers while lying on the ground at Snow Hill car park (pictured) in the early hours of Saturday. The assailants went through the 33-year-old victim’s pockets and stole £15 in cash and his mobile phone.
It is not yet known why the victim was already lying on the ground.
The mugging happened shortly after 4.15 am and the police want to identify two males who were seen on CCTV walking along Queen Street a few minutes earlier.
The victim sustained a number of cuts and bruises, having been pun-ched and kicked while on the ground.
His pockets were rifled and items of property stolen.
