Thursday 28th August 2008, 2:59PM BST.
JERSEY photographer Peter Trenchard will find out next month if he will be crowned Kodak Wedding Photographer of the Year.
He is one of five entries to go through to a final judging for his image, taken on the Elizabeth Castle breakwater in late 2007.
The awards are run by the Master Photographers Association therefore to reach the final is a huge accolade for Mr Trenchard, who is a fellow of the British Institute of Professional Photographers.
‘It is such an honour to get this far,’ he said. ‘Everybody’s wedding is different. Photographs are the moments of
your life that can never be repeated again.
‘My job is to capture magic moments, anticipate, and be in the right place at the right time.’
