A JERSEY band is looking forward to playing in front of 10,000 festival goers this weekend when Jersey Live kicks off.
Porcupine Effect won the Battle of the Bands in March to find a local group to play the first slot on Sunday at the festival at the Royal Jersey Showground in Trinity.
Jersey Live begins tomorrow with The Zutons headlining. Dance act The Prodigy headline on Sunday.
Organisers are hoping for a sell-out gig and good weather. The Met Office has predicted sunshine and temperatures of 27 degrees for Saturday.
But festival goers are warned that Sunday will be cooler, with the possibility of rain at times.
