Charity roadshow on wills

A WILLS ‘roadshow’ has been set up by an Island law firm in partnership with Cancer Research UK in Jersey.

Throughout the month of September, Island businesses can sign up to the roadshow and Voisin’s will visit the company to give a short presentation on wills and free one-to-one consultations. Voisin wills and probate manager Anne Hembry will also be on hand to offer advice.

‘In my experience people feel quite uncomfortable broaching the subject of wills, and they often put it off for this reason,’ she said. ‘Some people find that the idea of going to a lawyer’s office can be quite intimidating. My aim is to try to reach these people by coming to them and talking about the subject informally.
