easyJet cut five flights

The cancelled flights were on sale until recently, meaning that travellers from Jersey already booked to fly will have to find an alternative airline or travel date.

And Servisair, easyJet’s handling agent at the Airport, has not been made aware of all the cancellations.

A spokesman for the low-cost airline said that their Jersey winter schedule, which runs from October to March, has been reduced to five flights a week to Luton and four to Liverpool and was uploaded onto their website a few weeks ago.

But daily flights were still available before the website was updated so flights have subsequently had to be cancelled.

HD lose their ramp licence. What will Ozouf do to Easy Jet? Nothing! One rule for the small operator, one for the big boys.

This is outrageous – I fly regularly to Luton and/or Coventry, First Thomsonfly goes and now Easyjet – unless you are a business traveller it is becoming far too expensive to leave the Island by air…. surely there should have been a consensus of passengers opinion before the announcement – which is now I presume a fait accompli….

    Very very unhappy passenger
