Belgravia: Funds suspended

MORE details have been released about the Jersey firm which is under criminal and regulatory investigation.
As reported previously, senior managers of Belgravia Financial Services Group Ltd have been removed and replaced by shareholder Barclays Private Bank and Trust Ltd.
The Jersey Financial Services Commission announced yesterday that six of Belgravia’s funds had been suspended because of inadequate management. The commission said that legal directions had been issued on 1 September to Belgravia Fund Managers, which includes Belgravia Asset Management Ltd, Belgravia Atherstone Asset Management Ltd and Belgravia IFN Asset Management Ltd.
The funds that have been suspended are the Belgravia Atherstone Funds PCC, Belgravia European Property Funds Ltd, Belgravia Funds PCC, Belgravia Gold and Resources Fund LP, Belgravia IFN Funds PCC and Belgravia Property Funds Ltd.
