Passengers in the Gate 3 lounge – open to everyone – will have a laptop docking area and WiFi connectivity as well as flat screen TVs and leather seating.

Brewin Dolphin sponsored the refit and the gate was opened last Friday by the company’s executive chairman Jamie Matheson.

The divisional managing director at Brewin Dolphin, Stuart Sangan, said: ‘We see Jersey Airport as a key location for reaching both the public and the business community. As a service orientated company, we wanted to do more than simply advertise our expertise. By providing these facilities we can allow travellers to keep in touch, whether they want to check out the latest share price movements or log on to their favourite websites.’
