New boutique hotel
Thursday 11th September 2008, 2:51PM BST.
A PRIVATE house in St Aubin will open as a hotel this month after a multi-million pound refurbishment.
Built in 1851, Cardington House, located on Mont es Tours, is set in five acres of gardens and boasts panoramic views over St Aubin and beyond.
With five en-suite bedrooms, the management team hope to make the hotel an intimate and exclusive residence for leisure and business visitors.
General manager Simon Dufty, who managed Longueville Manor for 18 years and the Atlantic Hotel for ten, said that Cardington was ideal for people who wanted privacy and personal service.
