In search of old school friends
Monday 15th September 2008, 6:05PM BST.
BEVERLEY Mallett, of Margate, is hoping to make contact with old school friends from Convent FCJ and the former St Helier Girls’ School.
Beverley (47), was born in Jersey and on leaving school, worked as a care assistant at the General Hospital. She left the Island to live and work in Dublin for five years before moving with her partner to Margate three years ago. She now works as a bus driver, a job she thoroughly enjoys
‘I am a Jersey born girl with a long history of Jersey ancestors. I live in the UK now, but miss home very much,’ she said. ‘I’m trying to find old school friends, from the FCJ Convent between 1963 and 1975, and before that St Helier Girls. My maiden name was Rault, also known as Stenhouse. Can anyone help me?’
Beverley can be contacted by e-mail address at b.mallett1@btinternet.com or by telephone on 01843291897.
