A GROUP of long-standing friends and business acquaintances have set up a new hire company aimed at the construction industry market.
4Hire was established in August and is a joint venture between Nigel Blandin, of Blandin Contracting, and Mick Jéhan and Alex MacMaster, of MJ Plant Hire, who have over 28 years of experience between them.
The company, based in Grouville, provides construction and other industrial customers with an equipment rental service offering the likes of excavators, dumpers, site machinery, and concreting equipment as well as a range of consumables.
‘From a contractor’s point of view it was clear that there was a demand for a higher quality equipment rental service in Jersey, particularly now that many customers are looking for service and back-up levels that meet all regulatory requirements,’ said Mr Blandin.
