Expert on tap for business growth

BUSINESSES with potential to grow will now have access to an expert consultant.
The Economic Development department have recently run a pilot scheme and are planning to offer the ‘high growth programme’ to other firms.
The cost of the scheme is being kept secret, but Sean Pritchard, the director of business creation and growth (pictured) said the four businesses on the pilot scheme had paid 50% towards it. The programme is being run by a UK-based consultant, Paul Walker.
The four firms who undertook the pilot were estate agents Thompson Estates, IT firms Cronus Consultancy and Contract5, and web-based financial services business Rated Offshore.
