Don’t put too high a price on our Island heritage
Wednesday 24th September 2008, 2:55PM BST.
From Mary Boss.
I PERSONALLY feel that, with this economic crisis, we are pricing ourselves out of the market. Worst of all, we are pricing ourselves out of caring for humanity, our fellow men.
Genuine poverty does exist here in this beauteous Island of my ancestors, my birthplace, as it does globally. Shame on you, if you think not. I would much rather have a hug from my family, my friends, my mostly lovely neighbours, than any diamond on my finger.
Shalom,
Mont Sohier,
St Brelade.
