I AM glad I don’t live in St Clement, where, according to Roger Bale’s letter (JEP, 29 September), it gets dark in early September at 7.17 pm. We had lovely evenings here in St Saviour!
By contrast, this morning I had the lights on at home at nine o’clock as the dull day made it quite dark in the house. If Mr Bale had his way, it would have been one hour before midday!
