The six-tries to one 36-8 win was again secured early, with four first-half tries giving a wind-aided Island side a 26-8 advantage at the break.

Said coach Nathan Kemp: ‘The boys played really well again, getting the hard work done in the first half. Some of the play was outstanding – we kicked intelligently and used the wind advantage to keep the pressure on, while our line out functioned well again.

‘An added bonus was how well our replacements played – Henry Legg, JJ Le Fevure and Adam Heyes were outstanding.’
