CET is a bridge too far

WE have now set a precedent for referenda at election time.
Maybe the question we should have been asked during the Senatorial election was whether we ought to go ahead with the idea of a bridge connecting Jersey to France.
Then, when we got a yes vote, we could realistically visit the CET issue at the Deputies’ elections. Unless we are physically connected to France, CET is a non-starter.
